Currently feeling a bit like this old I Love Lucy clip... the one-woman assembly line is in full force... preparing for the upcoming All Arts Market. Please pardon my inconsistent blog posts during this time. I'll be back to normal after Labor Day Weekend ;)

Fantastic graphics for the Vintage at Goodwood Festival in England... wish I could have attended, sounds like it was pretty damn brilliant.

Via Vintage at Goodwood:
Vintage at Goodwood (August 13-15) is the first of what will be an annual music and fashion led celebration of creative British cool from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s, featuring the leading DJs, bands, collectors, purveyors of vintage clothing and vintage vinyl from each decade, as well as contemporary bands and brands inspired by Britain's rich creative and cultural heritage.

Fleur De Lis clock by Mr. Ernest Clingon... aka Cory Clinton. The Louisville native crafted a laser cut clock as birthday present for his sister. (Louisville is often represented with the fleur de lis, in honor of King Louis XVI, whom the town is named after)

The All Arts Market is fast approaching! Wanted to do a little something to give back to the fabulous Not Made In China fans... so if you come by my booth either Friday (9/3) or Saturday (9/4)... and say the Password: BULLET, you shall receive a FREE Not Made In China Swag Bag! Don't be shy now.

PS:  Carol Burnett was my inspiration. Saw a clip of the old game show "Password" and made a little animated gif of THE woman in action. Damn, her facial expressions are phenomenal.

Via Crown Town Handmade: Rachel Taliaferro of Rachel Taliaferro Art Jewelry will lead our next Make-Out session, "Hanging by a Thread" on Aug. 26 at 7:30PM.

Taking a cue from kinetic sculptor Alexander Calder, Rachel will show you how to make grown-up mobiles out of wire, string, origami, paper and/or found objects. If you want a special color of fishing line or string, bring that with you along with any special papers or found objects to make yours unique! As always, Crown Town Handmade will have some supplies. Bring your inspiration, and...BYOB/W for $5/pack/bottle. We wouldn't turn our noses up at a donation, either....

Our last book binding Make-Out was our highest attended ever, so help spread the word so that this fun event keeps growing in our community!

For more details and to RSVP, see the Facebook event page.

More Mobile Inspiration after the jump!
