I couldn't help but take notes at
last night's AIGA Design Week event. John Howard assembled an amazing panel of local design leaders, and Brady Bone, our moderator, did a great job asking thought provoking questions... while simultaneously taking flack from the amazing panel. The discussion left me impassioned and excited about the future of design in Charlotte. Still feeling inspired, I decided to visualize my three favorite quotes from the conversation.

I followed a live performance art presentation, and a Lucha Libre clad poet called "El Negrito"... Charlotte is becoming a real city! And even though I was missing a slide, talked a little too fast and had butterflies in my stomach, I'm pretty happy with my performance. I believe it was filmed, so I'll post it as soon as it's available. Oh, and for those of you who were there, here's the missing slide:
