It's Not Made in China's first birthday! (A year? Already?) ...  So we're CELEBRATING by giving away 100 custom 1.25" buttons. What would you do with 100 buttons? Use them as flair at a wedding or briss? Promote your blog, or business, or Bieber fan club? Make a button encrusted vest? Start a campaign for your 2012 run for president? Spread the word about a good cause or ex-boyfriend? Start your own humorous button line? Wait a second.... forget that last one. Basically, the possibilities are endless.

Here's how to enter:
Comment on this post with what you'd do with 100 buttons.

That's it. Only one step. Let's not make this complicated.

I'd use them on this project I made to hold jewelry...it's a frame w/ screen attached. I use the buttons like "hooks" if you will. I made my first one with all my buttons from high school and college (like AC/DC and Van Halen) and from conferences (HOW design) and everyone thinks it's really cool. I can send you a picture...it's not easy to describe....but it's a COOL use of buttons. (I think!) (:

I would give them out at my going away party (I'm moving to Charleston, SC). They would say, "See ya later, Mother (insert the F-word with a black line over it)". A fun little way to leave my friends!

I would use them on a grad school project. A rioters starter kit called "organize chaos"

I have so many friends right now who are expecting - I would make buttons for all of my pregnant friends that they could wear depending on what type of mood they are in and where they are going. They would say things like "Don't touch the belly" or "Yes, there's a baby in there" (for that weird in between is-she-gaining-weight-or-is-she-pregnant stage) or "i gave up coffee for this" or (even better) " i gave up drinking for this?" or "don't ask the name's a secret"

I'd include one with every outgoing order shipment from my AVL based Etsy shop... which by-the-way is totally handmade goodness (think organic apple meets vegan yarn meets vintage buttons - that most definitely are NOT made in China!)

Of course, If I won, I'd give a shout-out (linkage) to "Not Made In China" on my blog informing lucky potential buyers that they would be getting one with their order while "supplies last." And of course I'd set aside a dozen or so to hand out with purchases at my "Big Crafty" booth... because nothing beats word of mouth.

I currently sport three of your attention getting buttons on my craft tote: "I only drink vegan beer, Asheville is F#cking Awesone, and The Loophole in the Bible Belt." -xo

So cool! I would number them 1-100, and then when someone is talking to me I'd put on a button that represented the percentage I was listening to to what they are saying.

My sister and I are starting a business so I would make buttons to promote it!

I write a blog about raising a child with special needs. I meet people everywhere we go who want to know more about our son and have questions because they are in a similar situation as us. I would give the buttons to them so they have a way to find my site. I had 250 business cards but went through them quickly. And buttons are much cooler and visible.

My husband just finished Bee School and is now a certified beekeeper. The hives are built and the bees will be delivered to us in a few weeks. I would donate the 100 buttons to the Mecklenberg Beekeeper's Association to help them promote their group in the community.
