What is Not Made in China?
Not Made in China is a lighthearted, handmade venture located in Charlotte, North Carolina. We create unique buttons, magnets and paper products with a sense of humor. It is the brainchild of designer, Nikki Mueller, who makes everything by hand. No, we're not an activist group against China, the big NMIC picture is about buying local - from the artists, makers and creators who help support our economy, reduce our carbon footprint and inspire our communities.

When did it start?
Not Made in China started on a whim in late 2009. It began with a pitiful booth at local holiday arts market, then later expanded to an online presence, in February of 2010, and has been growing steadily ever since.

Where is Not Made in China sold?
